Policy Brief: Published under the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) Section for Higher Education, this policy brief introduces the fellows and the Top Action Tips.
Research and education are at the core of all progress. It must now be aimed at achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the 2030 deadline. The signatories of the SDG Publishers Compact must work to align the entire research and education community’s daily practices, content and measures of success to the SDGs. To this effect, the SDG Publishers Compact Fellows has identified key practical actions that different groups within the scholarly community can take to embed SDGs into practice.

SDG Rubric: We developed the SDG Rubric (SDGR) as a tool to evaluate textbooks and related educational materials for their coverage of the UN SDGS. The rubric gives you the ability to identify specific areas that can be more inclusive of, and better aligned with, SDGs from the beginning of the revision process to its final destination in the hands of learners.
